Anytown University Students Voting for a Clean, Just Energy Future
Campus “Power Vote” Campaign Will Mobilize Students for November Election and Beyond
ANYTOWN, OH – Anytown University students know what’s at stake in this election: their future. That’s why this week campus activists are launching an ambitious effort to urge fellow students to take the “Power Vote” Pledge to vote for a clean and just energy future. A campaign of the Energy Action Coalition, Power Vote seeks to mobilize one million young voters nationwide.
“Young voters will turn out in record numbers this year and make our voices heard,” asserts Jane Doe, an Anytown University junior majoring in secondary education and a Power Vote organizer. “It’s time to end our dependence on dirty energy and move towards a new clean energy economy that puts millions of Americans to work.”
The Anytown University Power Vote Coalition will promote the Power Vote Pledge through aggressive campus organizing and public events throughout the fall semester. For more information, contact Jane Doe at 555-555-5555.
