Today’s Voice: 1000 Voices - A National Archive

The 1000 Voices Archive, is a storybank and civic engagement site that promotes local community voices as powerful public dialogue leaders. Produced by the communications and media organization, Creative Counsel and The Fledgling Fund, the 1000 Voices Archive is now working with community and advocate networks, identifying, creating and promoting vignettes that demonstrate the vibrance and vision of leaders nationwide.

As we prepare to give thanks with family and friends, the 1000 Voices Archive would like to share a new story, entitled "Risking Everything," told by social justice advocate and visionary leadership expert Akaya Windwood of the Rockwood Leadership Institute in Berkeley, CA.



In an unprecedented economic and political era, we felt that Akaya's messages of courage, abundance, bridge-building, and community were fitting for this Thanksgiving greeting.
