What Would Jesus Do?

We're not in any way partisan or religiously oriented here at Power Vote. We want to work with anyone who wants a clean, just energy future in this country. That said, no matter who you are or what you believe, it's undeniable that a person called "Jesus" has had a big impact worldwide, and people often ask themselves what he would do.
Encouraging news on that front. While it's possible we're mistaken, Jesus may have just signed the Power Vote pledge in Michigan.
;-)
I am so glad to see that my good friend, the Son of God, Jesus, has apparently signed up with Power Vote. That's probably in Ann Arbor, MI. If we can get his speaking schedule revised, perhaps he can help spread the Christian message: "Satan burns, but God recycles." May you all have blessings of peace and happiness, and may you find realization of your true Natures, and an end to your suffering. Sincerely, Lord Buddha.
Not too far from the truth actually.... I'm part of a Christian organization at Hofstra Univ. Our club is nationally organized like Power Vote with student groups on most of the major universities across the country (www.InterVarsity.org). We love having you guys on campus. During our New Student Outreach, your table was right next to ours. I think we all took the pleadge b/c we think the environment has been entrusted to us and reflects God's beauty, creativity and power....
Your energy and commitment as a new student group has motivated us. During the presidential debate, all the clubs were given an opportunity to put up an interactive display that connected with a political issue. We did "Is Your Soul Green??" and had some pointed questions about making personal decisions and sacrafices in order to better care for the environment. It was a great success.
As a club we are bipartisan, but the bible speaks clearly about being a good steward of what Christ has entrusted to us, so it has been great to support your work in any way we can......I'm pretty sure Jesus would take the pledge!!
Ha! I love this. Jesus would definitely support clean energy. I'm not a student anymore, but I'm an ordained minister, so you can take my word for it!
His (GODS)will be done! And may GOD have mercy on us all!
OOHH, What would Jesus do? That is a tough question, but relatively simple as well. He would probably sign up the pledge, encouraging the Power Vote action members to follow the same strategy. And then, What I am sure of is that he is preparing a bright green future for Humanity. We just need to follow him step by step toward our green future:The Power Vote is certainly one of the steps.
May GOD Bless,

While I signed the Power Vote pledge online, it's always theologically suspect to say what Jesus would do, if there's nothing in the gospels about what Jesus said about certain issues. It's why it's suspect to say that Jesus would have opposed, or would have allowed for, same sex marriages, as he never said anything about it. All he talked about was male/female marriage. He had plenty to say about adultery and divorce, which heterosexual couples conveniently manage to overlook! But if I had to hazard a guess, I'd guess that Jesus would weep and has wept about the environmental damage we've done to his world. It's time we clean up our act, before he comes to clean up everything, good and bad, we've done.
